This screen allows you to setup the alerts regarding the things you would like to notify people about.
Prerequisites
- *PP_INBOX_OPTIONS set position 8 to Y to allow people to be alerted via Preceda Inbox.
Rules and Guidelines
- You can create, update, or delete an alert.
- You can have as many alerts using the same template as it is needed in your business.
- A saved alert runs overnight and sends out notifications.

This alert can notify recipients about any active employees who have any confidential certification gaps (i.e., Employee is required to obtain a certification but the certification is not obtained, expired, or required attachment not found) associated to them.
It can also notify people about any active employees who have not obtained a certain certification, whether required or not.
Recipients will be notified based on the {Criteria.Interval} selected as long as there is gap / missing certification detected.

This is the equivalent to Position Certifications Gaps template, except for that it only monitors confidential certifications.
This alert can notify recipients about any active employees who have any confidential certification gaps (i.e., Employee is required to obtain a certification, but the certification is not obtained, is expired, or required attachment not found) associated to them.
When {Criteria.Position} is selected, the alert notifies recipients about any confidential certification gaps for employees currently employees in this position. The confidential certification could be associated with the employee directly or via Position.
If an employee is notified on a day, they will not be notified again on the next day if they still meet the criteria. This avoids duplicated notifications.

Recommendation is set up one alert to monitor Compulsory Events and another one to monitor Optional Events.
This event will only be available when Preceda variable *PP_COMPL_DETL = Y, i.e. you have access to the Compliance Details screen.

It can also notify the approver's managers and other recipients.
If an employee is notified on a day, they will not be notified again on the next day if they still meet the criteria. This avoids duplicated notifications.
Example use case:
Employee submitted a new timesheet yesterday and the manager was not able to approve on the same day. Manager will get the notification today.
Employee provided more information to an existing timesheet yesterday and the manager was not able to approve on the same day. Manager will get the notification today.
Manager will not be notified again tomorrow if nothing new for them to approve today vs. yesterday.

This field displays the description the user will see when selecting a particular template. This field can hold up to 50 characters.

Tick the ones you would like this alert to notify. For an alert to be saved, must tick at least 1 from the list.

Employees: employees who meet the criteria. Sometimes this recipient group may take on alias names, e.g. Visa holder (in Visa Expiry), Approver (in Unapproved Time Records).

Managers: 1 level up report to managers of the employees defined by position. If the employee has multiple 1 level up managers, all of them will be notified; If the employee does not have 1 level up managers but higher up managers (or escalated managers), the escalated managers will not be notified.
Delegated Managers specified in 'Workflow' will NOT receive notifications.

Administrator: selected user who has Administrator set to Y in Define Users screen.

Workflow Role: selected role setup in Workflow Role screen.

System Health Check: by ticking the 'Enabled' checkbox, the saved alert becomes available for review in System Health Check screen from the next day. Refreshing System Health Check screen reruns alerts from there and notifies recipients if changes are found. By unticking the 'Enabled' checkbox, the saved alert is removed from System Health Check screen from the next day.
